Julie Rainey

Julie Taylor Rainey returned to her Heavenly Father unexpectedly, early Saturday morning from her home in Ogden, Utah due to chronic medical conditions.

She was born in the old Dee hospital, the youngest daughter to Ivan Taylor and Genevieve Farr Taylor. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1977. She spent 7 years at Weber State University and Grand Canyon University in early childhood education.

Julie was an active member of the LDS church, loved to do temple work and had many callings.

She married Terry C Rainey. They later divorced.

She loved dogs and cats and most of all her grandchildren, Genevieve and Aden. She loved to cook, drive and chit chat. She had a sweet heart and always gave more than she had.

She is survived by her children- Nedra, Mary Mann, David, Bryan and Marianne Ackermann (Eric), and her brothers Jim Taylor (Delfa), Ivan Taylor Jr.(Laurie), sisters, Annette Adams, Kathy Richardson (Paul), and Barbara Taylor, her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend Julie’s funeral at the Memorial Park Ward, 3755 Porter Ave, Ogden, Utah, on Saturday April, 7 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a viewing at 9:30 to 10:45 preceding the funeral. Interment will be at the Ogden City Cemetery.
