Katherine Josephine Hauck unexpectedly passed away December 11, 2025 in Provo, Utah. Like too many of America's children, it was a lethal dose of Fentanyl that killed her.
Kate was born February 19, 2004 in Tampa, Florida. Her parents are Alan and Debra (Parker) Hauck. She was baptized on March 11, 2018. She graduated high school in 2022 with a 3.63 GPA. Her passion was storytelling, literature and writing. She loved waitressing. She was that server you enjoyed seeing and who made you laugh when you went out to eat.
Kate very outgoing and strong willed. She was a hugger, whether you wanted to be hugged or not. The last few months of her life she matured a great deal. Many of her friends talked about how kind she was and how she tried to help and protect them. I think the hardship of being homeless made her more compassionate and less self-focused. It brought out the good in her.
She was little; barely five feet tall, but her personality was so big it was easy to forget her size. Her bright eyes and dimples were endearing and she often charmed everyone she met. She was leader and loved being in charge.
She was a skilled archer in 4H. she loved animals and dog training/showing. She was musician and played piano, alto sax and ukulele. Kate loved books and movies. Her career testing showed that her strongest talents were acting and storytelling. She loved traveling. In her short lifetime she visited 19 states.

Kate is survived by her parents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins (far too many to list. Kate was her parents only child having been adopted as an infant. Much to Kate's heartache, she was also unable to have children.
Kate was preceded in death by her grandparents; Orville and Josephine (Misar) Hauck and Karl and Roseanne (Summers) Parker. Uncle and aunt; Bobby and Annette (Parker) Hackett and great grandparents, Thomas and Lois (Parker) King. Great uncles; Bert Tiesen, Melvin Misar, ____________, ______________ and great aunts; Evelyn Misar and _______________.
