Khristine Evelyn Petersen Jackson

October 3rd, 2014, Khristine Evelyn Petersen Jackson, 46, ended her battle with esophageal cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family who adored her. Khristy was born May 13, 1968 to Shirl and JoAnn Petersen of Bountiful, Utah. Khristy had such a special spirit, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Khristy's family was the light of her life. She is survived by parents, Joann and Shirl Petersen, her three children, Jesse Jackson, Aly Jo (Zachary) Grimsdell, and Cody McPherson brought much pride and joy into her life, especially over the last two years. Her two grandchildren, Sami and Jessin, who were the total loves of her life. Her brothers, Kelly (Crystal) Petersen, Terry (Jerry) Petersen, and Shawn Petersen worshiped the ground she walked on. She was preceded in death by a very special nephew, Chace Bastian, who has been plotting his revenge for the Widowmaker prank. Khristy's considered her four best friends, Karen Atwood, Mishell Savas-Caligiuri, Cheryl Powell-Pearce and Tish Grainger-Lund as the sisters she never had. Khristy loved boating and always spoke very highly of her boating friends and their adventures. She married John Jackson and later Lonnie McPherson, who holds a special place in her heart. She worked at Beehive Insurance and Insurance Network , where she took great pride in her work and made long lasting friendships Services will be held Wednesday, October 8th 2014 at the LDS Church at 311 North 800 West in W Bountiful. The viewing will be from 10:30-11:30, services immediately following.
