Passed away peacefully on the morning of December 26th 2012. LaVar loved maintaining his vehicles, the outdoors , camping and fishing, but most of all spending every moment of his life with his wife Millie. His honesty was never compromised. He was and always will be, a Marine, Semper Fi. LaVar was a dedicated employee of Consolidated Freightways and had a untarnished driving safety record with over 25 years of driving and no incidents. Lee loved to drive his truck and loved the time he spent daily with the other drivers at Consolidated Freightways. Lee also loved to spend time in Wendover and Mesquite Nevada gambling and vacationing with his wife. Lee is survived by His wife Mildred Winder,whom has faithfully stayed by his side through thick and thin. His son Tony Ryan, John Ryan and Danny Ryan (deceased) and Steve Winder. His daughters Sheila Andersen, Becky, Crystal and Debbie (deceased) His grandchildren whom he loved very much. Services will be as follows: Viewing will be Wednesday January 2nd from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. At Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S Camp Williams Rd. Bluffdale, Utah. We expect all who attend to do so respectfully. Graveside service will be on Friday January 4th at 1:00 PM at Utah Veterans Memorial Park 17111 South Camp Williams RD Bluffdale Utah.
