Layne Kyle Losser

On February 9th 2017 our family received closure when Layne Kyle Losser was recovered from the Jordan River after being missing since December 12th 2016. He was Born August 30th 1970 to Betty Loraine Austin Simmons (William) and Gordon Leland Losser (Linda).

Layne is survived by both his parents, step parents, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 6 brothers, Troy Losser (Tammy), Shawn Losser, Cory Losser, Jodie Simmons, Reed Simmons and William Simmons JR. 4 children, Taniesha Robertson, Hayden Layne Losser, Kyler Elden Losser & Tayven Graystin Losser, with 1 granddaughter Kaiya Robertson. Layne loved and admired them till his last day.

Layne will be missed by many and never forgotten. He was a caring son, a supportive father, an entertaining brother, a witty uncle and wisecracking friend. Although he left us too soon, he is no longer battling the beast of each day and now has the strength to guide his children and grandchildren.

Layne enjoyed camping, fishing and hanging out with friends and family. He was always one you could count on for true and honest answers in regards to everyday situations. He was fearless! He was generous and often times would give his last dollar to someone else if he thought they needed it more than he did.

“Layne you will be severely missed and always deeply loved”. Rest in Paradise! Until we see you again.

A celebration of life for Layne will be held in the Spring or Summer of 2017, when his family can come together with comfort.
