Louise Diane Stirdivant Bishop

Louise Diane Stirdivant Bishop passed away on February 26th, 2026, while being cared for at an Assisted Living Facility in Layton, Ut, with her loving family by her side.

Louise was born July 4th, 1951, in Ogden, Ut, to Norma Louise and Melvin Cornelius Stirdivant. She was the oldest of eight children. She attended school in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. Louise married her best friend and love of her life, Robert Lee Bishop Jr., in Elko NV, on October 19, 1969. She was a faithful Christian and a strong patriotic person!

Louise and Lee had seven children: Shayne, Jeremy, Christopher, Stephanie, Matthew, Brett, and Brittany. She had 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and sister, Lynne and her husband Ken.

She loved music, cooking, holidays, and especially her detailed Christmas village. She will be remembered mostly for her generosity and kindness, and her grape jelly and fudge.

A special thank you to the staff at Apple Village Assisted Living and the Hospice team, for all the love, care and support that they provided. They truly loved Louise and enjoyed their daily visits with her.

A private remembrance will be held for family members at a later date.
