Lucas Pasin

Lucas Pasin, 19, "Made in Brazil,"passed away the morning of August 5, 2006, in a tragic motorcycle accident. A true "free spirit," he was born January 7, 1987, in Caieiras, Sé£o Paulo, Brazil, to Adalberto and Arlinda Albuquerque Pasin. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1986. He is an authentic Brazilian/American boya€"since he lived half his life in Brazil and the other half in the USA. This month he was ready to become an American citizen.
Lucas became a handsome, smart, honest, responsible, and multi-talented young man. He played the drums, bongos, swam like a fish, and had a special way to make friends and keep them forever. He loved his many friends and hanging out with them. But his best friend is his brother, Thiago. He is SO close to him. Lucas graduated from Cottonwood High School in 2005a€""Go Colts!"
His dreams were to travel, to go places that have a lot of sun, sand, and cute girls. He lived his life in full, once saying: "I refuse to live an ordinary life." He was excited to finish restoring in 1954 Clipper Packard Deluxe and take it for a drive. Lucas enjoyed his life every second, whether he was skydiving or at home with his family. He will be remembered for his sophisticated sense of humor.
He is survived by his beloved parents, Adalberto and Arlinda; his brother and best friend, Thiago; Thiago's girlfriend, Laura Ballard; grandma Alice Pasin; grandparents Valdemir and Lourdes; special aunts, Isabel and Iolanda; and various other uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family. Preceded in death by grandfather, Dercio Pasin.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am, Friday, August 11, 2006, at the Winder 17th Ward LDS Church, 1475 East 4705 South, with a viewing 9:00 to 10:45am, just prior to services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lucas Pasin Memorial Fund at any Zion's Bank. T-shirts will also be available with all proceeds going toward the restoration of the 1954 Packard.
