Lucille Mary Bennett, 87, passed away at her daughters home in West Jordan, Utah with her family at her side July 5, 2006 after a three month battle with kidney failure and pneumonia. The family was supported and assisted in their time of need by Hearts For Hospice. She was born September 29, 1918 in Sioux City, Iowa to Juddson and Hilda DeWall Johnson.
She lived in Sioux City, Iowa 72 years until 1989 when she moved to St. Augustine, Florida where she resided for 14 years. She lived in West Jordan, Utah for the past year.
Lucille served as a volunteer for the Flagler Hospital Auxiliary in St. Augustine, Florida for 9 years. Her interests included sewing, reading and cooking. She was a Catholic having great faith and was a very devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter Donna L. Mitchell-Cybulski and spouse Edmund Cybulski of West Jordan, UT, sons Frank and his wife Linda Richards and Donald Richards of Rialto, CA, 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Norman Bennett in 1989.
Interment and private family services will be held in Iowa.
