Manuel Martinez passed away September 4, 2022.   He was born June 02, 1988 in Anaheim California to Margarito Martinez and Maria de Lourdes Mena Morales.  He married Maria del Rosario Perez and they have two children, Chelse 13, Jeffery 10.

He is survived by his two children; sister, Susanna; brother, Andres; sister, Janet; sister, Angelica and brother, Arturo, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

He is preceeded in death by his parents. Manuel loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed music. He was a good father who was very dedicated to his children and his family. He passed away doing the things he loved, being out in the wilderness and spending time with his large family. Manuel ran heavy machinery and worked on road crews managing traffic for much of his career. He had a great sense of humour and loved a good prank. He loved, long walks, his Monster drinks, video games and a good laugh. He played soccor as a young man and enjoyed following his team the Chivas. He will be missed by his children, family and those who worked along side him.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Serenicare Funeral Home, 2281 S. West Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah.  A Funeral Mass will be held, Friday, September 23, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 3560 W 3640 S, West Valley City, Utah. Interment will be directly afterward at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S 200 W, Bountiful, Utah.  

 


Manuel Martinez falleció el 4 de Septiembre de 2022. Nació el 2 de Junio de 1988 en Anaheim California de Margarito Martinez y Maria de Lourdes Mena Morales. Se casó con María del Rosario Pérez y tienen dos hijos, Chelse 13, Jeffery 10.

Le sobreviven sus dos hijos; hermana, Susana; hermano, Andrés, Janet, Angélica y Arturo, y muchas tías, tíos y primos.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres. A Manuel le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y disfrutaba de la música. Era un buen padre muy dedicado a sus hijos ya su familia. Falleció haciendo las cosas que amaba, estar en la naturaleza y pasar tiempo con su numerosa familia. Manuel operó maquinaria pesada y trabajó en cuadrillas de carreteras gestionando el tráfico durante gran parte de su carrera. Tenía un gran sentido del humor y amaba las buenas bromas. Le encantaban los largos paseos, su bebida Monster, los videojuegos y las buenas risas. Jugó fútbol de joven y disfrutaba seguir a su equipo, las Chivas. Sus hijos, su familia y quienes trabajaron junto a él lo extrañarán.

Se realizará un velorio el jueves 22 de Septiembre de 2022 de 5:00 a 8:00 p.m. en Serenicare Funeral Home, 2281 S. West Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. Se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre el viernes 23 de Septiembre de 2022 a las 12:30 p. m. en la iglesia católica St. Peter and Paul, 3560 W 3640 S, West Valley City, Utah. El entierro será inmediatamente después en el cementerio de Bountiful City, 2224 S 200 W, Bountiful, Utah.
