Marvin Stanley Fugle

Marvin Stanley Fugle passed away from this life April 16, 2007 at home in Salt Lake City. He was born September 15, 1922 in Benson, Minnesota to Ole Mathias Fugle and Clara Sophie Rodi. In Word War II, Marv was proud to serve his country as Radioman Second Class in the Navy aboard the USS George Clymer. He loved the ocean. Marv married Beverly "L" Price in Salt Lake City, but later divorced. As a talented and hard-working ceramic tile contractor, he a was kind mentor to many. He is a member of the LDS church. His posterity includes, Irene (Ronald) Stout, eight grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild (deceased). The children of his companion, Shirley Haycock, includes Cliff Jr. (deceased), Vickie Colvin (Thayne), Steve (Paula), Kelly (Suzanne), 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and his devoted friend, Maggie, the dog. Marv is survived by his sister, Lois Eidsness. A viewing at the Brighton Pointe LDS Church, (3455 E. Bengal Blvd. (7800 S.), Cottonwood Heights, will be Thursday, April 19 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and again Friday, April 20 from 10:30 to11:30 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon followed by a graveside service at Mountainview Memorial, 3115 E. Bengal Blvd. A dinner for Marv's family and friends will be held at the church thereafter.
