Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle Marv was born In Burley, Idaho to John Thomas and Alice Elizabeth on November 19, 1937. He enjoyed his childhood years in California where he later met his sweetheart Karla at a church dance. He married Karla Packer in September 1956. Marv served our country in the Army in France shortly after being married. After his service in France he came home and learned his trade as a general contractor. He loved to provide service to others using his building skills. He volunteered for projects for family, friends and neighbors. He and Karla served 2 LDS service missions. The missions were the Louisville, Kentucky temple construction, and Nauvoo Restoration. He was a compassionate, kind, and loving man and a beloved member of whatever community he was a part of. He was an incredible father and grandfather and made each and every one of his kids and grandkids feel special. Marv’s family was his whole world and he loved them all more than can be expressed. He will be missed dearly by everyone.

Marvin is survived by his wife Karla, Children: Allen & Deb Prestridge, Tami Coleman, and Mark & Kim Prestridge, Sisters: Joyce Jensen and Darlene Cambra, 15 Grandchildren, and 24 Great Grandchildren.
