She was the oldest of 6 children. She married her eternal sweetheart, Norman D. Kirkham in the Salt Lake Temple on February 21, 1969. They have six children. Heather (Mark) Dubach of South Jordan, Shaun (Melissa) Kirkham of Lehi, Melinda (Derrick) Sorensen of Salt Lake City, Angela Smart of South Jordan, Rob (Marie) Kirkham of Kaysville, and Cody Kirkham of North Salt Lake.
She is survived by her husband Norman D. Kirkham, all six of her children, 26 grandchildren, two brothers: Max (Kathy) of Tooele, Scott of Tooele, two sisters: Carolyn Berry of Cedar Fort, Chris (John) Skinner of Ophir. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister DeAnna Pennington, brother-in-law Norm Berry, sister-in-law Deanne Degelbeck, and nephew Casey Berry.
She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a love for her Savior Jesus Christ and for the scriptures. She enjoyed sharing her testimony through many acts of service including a two-year mission to Central Germany. She was an example of hard work to her children and worked all of her adult life in a variety of secretarial/office manager jobs as well as an Avon lady. She enjoyed singing, dancing, reading, traveling, and supporting her children in their many different activities.
We as a family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and social workers of CNS for their care of our sweet wife and mother. She is now happily dancing with her family, that have gone on before her and we know she is our Angel watching over us.
