Melissa Passey

Melissa Marleen McManus was a strong, radiant, and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She has unexpectedly left this world on May 29, 2025, at age 46. She was born on March 27, 1979, to Kirk (Leslie) McManus and Kim (Cliff) Duncan in Tooele, Utah.

Melissa was a woman whose big brown eyes held stories of strength, perseverance, and unconditional love. A devoted mother to her 2 daughters, Sierra (Alex) Cortes and Sadie Johnson, and her only son, Chandler Johnson. Melissa was also a proud grandmother to a cherished granddaughter: Amelia. Melissa gave her all to her family. Through every trial life gave her, she stood tall and resilient.

Melissa worked incredibly hard to finish esthetics school at Skin Works School of Advanced Skincare, where she earned her Esthetician License. She turned her dreams into reality by building her own beauty business alongside her daughter, Sierra. She helped women feel empowered, confident, and seen. She was a woman of courage and grace - someone who left a lasting impression wherever she went.

We come together not only to grieve her passing but to celebrate her life, her laughter, and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
