Michael Lavoy Hatch 1946 ~ 2006, went home to his father on October 11, 2006 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Mike was born October 2nd in Richfield Utah to Blaine and Anne Dean Hatch. Served honorably in Viet Nam for two years, was a master carpenter, and excelled at everything he did, from silversmith to photography. Michael built the beautiful hand hewn log home he lived in, in Garden City Utah. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, the company of friends and family, and the companionship of his dog Lucky.
Survived by his parents, twin sister MaryAnn Gilbert, brother Kevin (Cathy) Hatch, sister Trudy Martinez (Pamela Eoff), four Nephews and Nieces, and fifteen grandnephews and grandnieces. A family viewing will be held Monday October 16, at 1:00 pm in the LDS Chapel, 65 North Bear Lake Boulevard, Garden City, UT 84028 , graveside services at 1:30 Garden City Cemetery.
