Michael Lopez

Michael Lopez died on September 14, 2016. He was born to Mabel Martinez and Thomas Lopez in Salt Lake City on February 19, 1952. He attended Idaho State university with a 4.0, earned a trade degree in printing, and was a Journeyman Printer for many years.

In 1972 he joined the US Army and honorably served until 1975 when he joined the Reserves until 1978. He earned the National Defense Service Medal for Marksmanship.

On June 1, 1989 he married Robyn in Elko, Nevada.

We have been humbled and have been filled with the spirit. Mike believed in the Lord and truly went to Him in prayer and life with the heart of a trusting child. When I think of the great love a man can have for, and be to a woman- I'll think of you.

You have a great love for family as well, and demonstrated that love. Your friends and neighbors loved and respected you. I never saw a person in need that you didn't reach out to. You loved people and the ones who knew you loved you back.

It was a privilege to spend the time with you that we have had together. We've had ups, downs, and sideways, and I feel grateful for it.

Michael enjoyed fishing, yardwork, and building models. He got a kick out of NASCAR. (Go Dale Jr.)

Surviving Michael is his wife, Robyn; children, Mandy and Issac; grandchildren: Jesse, Nevaeh, Anthony, and Ashley; and many dear friends.

Special Thanks to Encompass Hopsice, especially Char, Lance, and Anna Reyes. Thank you for your love and support.
