Michael Ricardo Valdez

Michael Ricardo Valdez was born December 18, 1964 in Espanola, New Mexico to Macario Orlando Valdez and Carlotta Gutierrez Valdez.  At the age of 3 his family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.  He attended Olympus High School and worked in the construction industry.  

Michael loved animals especially dogs.  He mowed lawns and shoveled snow as a boy to earn money to feed his many rescue dogs.  He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family.

He is survived by two daughters; Vanessa and Rihanna.  He is also survived by his mother Carlotta Lujan (Charles),  and siblings; Lorna Valdez, Orlando Valdez, Yvette Valdez, Rosemary Pina (Roberto), Emily Valdez, Angela Valdez (Kelly), Becky Valdez (Frank) Charles Lujan Jr.. Michael is preceded in death by his father and sisters Erlinda Muriel and Dorothy Valdez.
