Myrene Nielsen

Earth has lost a true treasure; Heaven has gained an amazing angel. Myrene Nielsen died on March 9, 2016 at the Intermountain Medical Center with loved ones by her side. She was born in Salt Lake on December 28, 1960 to Norman B and Mary Lou Nielsen.

Myrene graduated from Kearns High School and worked in Collections and Quality Assurance for Wells Fargo. She loves her nieces and nephews like they are her own children. She was good to everyone whom she came in contact. She loved golf and was a true U of U fan. She remembered every holiday and important occasion. If she knew you she truly cared about you.

Surviving Myrene are her mother, Mary Lou Nielsen; brother, Spencer (Kim) and their children: Kayden, Brandon, Brycen and Kamri; sister, Alecia (Shane) and their children: Chase, Jacob, KC; and her partner, Steve Barker. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman B, and brother, Hugh.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Kearns 14th Ward building, 4232 West 5015 South. A time for visitation will be held from 10:30 until 11:45 at the church on the same day. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Park.

Myrene did not want to die- she wanted to live-- really live -- the cancer was just too fast for her to go on. She will forever be missed!
