Nicholas Herman Pegnato passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2026, at the age of 29. He was born on May 25, 1996, in Taylorsville, Utah. He worked most of his adult life as a framer and in other phases of construction. His hobbies included drawing, writing, and performing music. He will be remembered most for his kind heart and sense of humor.
Nick is survived by his parents, John and Saundra, half-brothers Matthew, Michael, Philip, and Joseph, and sisters, Kayla and Lynette.
A service will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic church, 4501 W. 5215 S. Kearns, Utah on February 3, 2026. Visitation will be from 5-6 PM with a funeral service following at 6 PM. All are invited to light a candle or leave a flower in his memory.
