After her marriage she lived in Concord, California and was able to resume her education, obtaining her Associate of Arts degree from Mt. Diablo Community College. Norma had numerous talents, and she worked diligently to develop them. She was an accomplished painter, a meticulous seamstress, and an award-winning gardener. In her later years, she created a beautiful, elegant home for her extended family to enjoy. She was extremely well-read and died with three books on her nightstand.
