Norman George LeBaron

Norman George LeBaron, age 81, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 11, 2015. He was born March 10, 1934 to Theiss Ralph and Mary Louise Cheney LeBaron in Barnwell, Alberta, Canada. He married Janeal Barben on May 8, 1959 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He is survived by six sons and one daughter: Scott (Cynthia); Steve (Cynthia); Brad (Allie); Jeff (Sue); Cheri (Kevin) Miller; Chad (Tina); Shane (Kristin). He has 43 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Norman is survived by 4 siblings Donald (RoseMary), Richard (Luane), Carol Ann (Stan) DeAdder and Brent (Jan). He was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Janeal, eight months ago, granddaughter Hailey Miller, and siblings Louise (Keith), Gordon (Idale), Francis (Veda), Theron (Betty), and David (Lindalie). Norm truly never met a stranger as he loved people, loved sharing the gospel and often introduced himself as "Norman the Mormon." He served an LDS Mission to the Central States (1952-1954), served a mission with his wife in Leeds England (1998-1999) and was a member missionary his entire life. He loved Scouting, helped each of his six sons, many of his grandsons and countless other youth become Eagle scouts. In 2005 he was awarded the Silver Beaver Award. We will miss our warm and loving dad, grandpa and friend. Funeral will be held Monday, June 15th 11:30 a.m. at the Highland Utah South Stake Center - 9626 North 6800 West, Highland, Utah. A viewing will be held at the same location from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on Sunday Evening and also on Monday morning prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. Interment services immediately following the funeral at American Fork Cemetery located at 26 W 600 N State in American Fork.
