O'Dell Morrison Bodily

O’Dell passed away at his home in West Valley City UT with his wife by his side. 

He was born Feb. 21, 1942 in Franklin ID to Elvin P Bodily and Leah Morrison Bodily.     

Graduated from West High and attended the U of U for two years. He fulfilled a mission Central Atlantic States. After his mission he worked for the Church in the Genealogy dept. 

Married Louise Taylor, divorced. From that union were two sons.                               

Married Sheri Anne Bowman on March 17^th 1982 in the Jordan River Temple

O’Dell worked for the United States Postal Services. He was a mail carrier and later on became a clerk on LSM machines. He received many awards for his speed and accuracy.  He also played the piano and the organ. He played the organ for the Jordan River Temple for the open house; he also played the organ in his wards for many years. 

He had many fun things he liked sports such as the Jazz games, U of U football games, SL Bees, Bowling on the postal league, taking his sons on vacations and spending time with them. He enjoyed traveling with Sheri and always looked forward to the gin rummy tournaments on Friday nights after dinner, especially if he was winning. 

Survived by his wife Sheri, sons; Jason Mathew Bodily (Krista), Brandon Taylor Bodily (Erin), Brothers; Richard Bodily (Heli), Kevin Bodily (Ranae), Sister; Shayla Dunroe. Gradchildren; Ruth Larson (Alec), Grace Bodily, Lily Bodily, Ivy Bodily, many nieces and nephews

Proceeded in death: Parents, Fern Stokes, Jay Stokes, Maxine Bodily, Tom Dunroe
