Patricia Brown

Patricia (Pat) Marie Scoffield Brown age 79 passed away after a courageous 9 ½ year battle with Lung Cancer on August 26th 2021, peacefully and surrounded by family.  She was born April 16, 1942 in Salt Lake City Utah to Deen Scoffield and Marie Bradshaw Scoffield.

Pat was raised most of her life in Salt Lake City and Kearns and graduated from Granger High School Class of 1960.  Pat later discovered her passion for cosmetology which she remained dedicated to along with some clientele, for over 60 years.  Pat's first marriage was to Sherman Blank in 1960 and she was blessed with her first daughter Julie.  She married Michael C. Brown in 1966 and was blessed with daughters Camela, Bethany and Teisa.  Pat and Mike were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Pat was first and foremost a loving wife and mother to her 4 daughters and the bestest Grammy ever.  Pat was a loving and devoted friend to many and dedicated many years of service both in and outside of the LDS Church.

She is survived by daughters Julie Lazarakis (Gus), Camela LaFaver (Terry), Bethany Erickson (Chet), Teisa Bullock (Nate), sister Paula Strand, brother Robert “Link” Scoffield (Gay), 18 grand children and 7 great grand children and an endless number of friends she considered family.  Preceded in death by her sweetheart Michael, parents, brother Deen and granddaughter Dezi .

Funeral services will be at Rose Canyon LDS Church 6869 W Vista Springs Dr, Herriman Utah on Friday, September 3rd 2021 at 11:00 AM.  A viewing will be held Thursday, September 2nd 2021 from 6-8 PM and from 9-10:30 AM prior to services. Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy.
