Patricia Ann Craven von Khrum peacefully left us on April 10, 2022. She was born in Ogden, Utah on November 28, 1934, to Florence Joanne Browning and Robert William Craven. Pat married Robert Ellis von Khrum February 20, 1954. They shared their lives together for 68 years. He devotedly cared for her until her passing.
Pat was devoted to her family. She never missed a concert, performance, or sporting event. She had an extensive collection of antique clothing which she presented in fashion shows all over the valley. Her interest in antique clothing complemented Robert’s antique car collection.
Anyone who knew Pat knew of her love for animals. She was a founding member of Coalition Against Mandatory Pound Seizure (CAMPS). Many rescue pets were fortunate enough to make their way to her and find a forever home.
To know Pat was to know her beauty inside and out. Her compassion and generosity were unmatched. Pat’s warm heart and open nature immediately put everyone at ease. Her vibrant blue eyes were quick to meet yours, and her laugh was infectious. She was an extremely talented seamstress and an accomplished visual artist. She was continuously captivated by the beauty of nature and animals.
Pat is survived by her husband, Robert, two daughters, Debra Wetzel and Wendy (Dave) Tuckett, granddaughters Kathryn and Carolyn Wetzel, sister-in-law Karen Bertagnole, stepsister Cletah Madsen, and her fur baby Pepe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Karen Forslund, and stepfather John (Jack) Kay.
A celebration of life will be held at the clubhouse at Village III Condominiums, 1525 E Village Three Road (Vine Street) in Murray, on Friday, April 22 from 7:00-9:00 P.M.
