Patrick Sean McCann

Patrick Sean McCann passed away unexpectedly at home on January 6, 2018 from chronic health problems. He was born January 21, 1986 to Robert R and Marian McCann in the front seat of the family Honda outside the Emergency Room of the Logan Regional Hospital.

After a rocky start he thrived at home in Logan for his first five years. He moved with his family to Salt Lake City in 1991. Paddy attended Butler Elementary and Middle School and graduated from NewTyme private High school a year early. He had Asperger’s Syndrome and suffered from social anxiety, but when he was comfortable he displayed a sharp intelligence and a quick wit. He was loved by all who took the time to get to know him. He had a kind, gentle heart and a generous spirit.

Patrick was employed in Production at Bullfrog Spas and Moog Medical, where he did meticulous and detailed work. He loved playing video games, watching movies, cooking shows and Dr Who, and his family. Paddy planned all year for his incredible fireworks extravaganzas.

He is survived by his parents, siblings: Mike (Melody) McCann, Quorra McCann, his beloved niece and nephews, Brona, Finn and Rowan McCann, grandparents Clyde and Geneil Anderson, aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his brother, Daniel, sister-in-law, Brittany McCann, grandparents, Robert and Fae McCann, and uncle, Brian Anderson.

A Graveside service is planned for Wednesday, January 10th, at 1:00 pm in the Logan City Cemetery. A visitation for friends and family will be held at the Logan East Stake Center, 1450 East 1500 North, in Logan immediately following the interment.
