Paul Evan Neal

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Paul Evan Neal, age 62, on June 2, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. A devoted father, beloved son, and cherished brother, Paul leaves behind a legacy of laughter, unwavering support, and cherished memories.

Born and raised in Utah, Paul dedicated many years to his work at Holiday Oil, where he worked with an amazing group of people. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he honorably served a mission in Columbus, Ohio. He found great joy and fulfillment in teaching the gospel, especially in Primary and Sunday School, where his warm spirit and genuine love for children shone brightly.

Paul was a man of simple pleasures and profound loves. His daughters, Megan and Kaleigh, were the center of his world, and he was their steadfast advocate and confidante, always ready with a witty joke or sage advice.

He found joy in the great outdoors and classic entertainment. He had a deep passion for movies, especially old westerns, often quoting lines and sharing his favorite scenes. The Uintah Mountains held a special place in his heart, where he found peace and happiness camping and off-roading amidst nature’s beauty. A true sportsman at heart, he enjoyed recreational shooting and bowling, always up for a friendly competition and the camaraderie it brought.

Beyond his hobbies, Paul was known for his incredible sense of humor, his ability to make anyone smile, and his unwavering support for those he loved. He was a constant source of encouragement and a trusted advisor, always there to lend an ear or offer guidance.

Paul is survived by his loving daughters, Megan and Kaleigh; his mother, Marleen, and father, Bob; his brothers, Scott (Robyn) and Gary; and nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
