With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Pete Kenneth Reilly—lovingly known as PK—on April 23, 2025, surrounded by his devoted family.
Born on August 9, 1988, PK was the cherished son of Margo Ann Firkins and Melvin Edward Reilly Jr. Named after two beloved uncles, Pete carried a legacy of love and connection from the moment he arrived. Though he was an only child, PK never lacked siblings—his cousins filled that role wholeheartedly, loving him like a little brother. His bond with his aunts and uncles was just as strong, and they will forever remember his warm, unforgettable hugs and the way he made it so hard to say goodbye.
As a child, PK loved spending his days playing baseball and fishing—always happiest when outdoors and surrounded by the people he loved. His adventurous spirit followed him throughout his life, fueling his passion for travel, camping, and going on cruises. PK could often be found sitting outside, simply enjoying the fresh air and peaceful moments. A true dog lover, he adored his loyal companions Duke and Cookie, who brought him endless joy and comfort.
A lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, PK never missed a chance to cheer on his team, celebrating every victory and standing proud through every loss.
PK was young, vibrant, and full of life. His contagious smile could light up any room, and his hopeful spirit uplifted everyone around him. Even during his struggle with organ failure toward the end of his life, he held tightly to optimism and fought bravely, never letting go of hope.
PK’s legacy lives on in the memories of those who loved him deeply, his family, his friends, and all those lucky enough to know the joy of his presence. He will be remembered not only for his kindness and laughter but also for the way he made others feel seen, valued, and loved.
