Porfirio Emilio Florimon

Porfirio Elias Florimon, lovingly known to many as “Legend,” passed away on June 21, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 44.

Born on November 2, 1980, in the Dominican Republic, Elias grew up in New York, where he shaped his strong sense of character, deep love for family, and unmatched ability to bring joy to those around him. Later in life, he made his home in Salt Lake City, Utah, where his warmth, laughter, and magnetic spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Elias was a man who could light up any room. Whether through a joke, a kind word, or simply his presence, he had a gift for making people smile. Known affectionately as “Legend,” he carried that title with quiet confidence and genuine humility. He was loved by all who knew him.

He had a passion for playing darts and enjoyed nothing more than time spent with his loved ones. He adored his dog, Rocky. Among his proudest roles was being “Tío” to his favorite niece and nephew, Aryah and Damien, who brought him endless joy.

Elias is survived by his beloved daughter, Haley; his devoted mother, Maria Florimon; his brother, David Florimon; his cherished niece Aryah and nephew Damien; and many other family members and friends who loved him deeply. His legacy of laughter, kindness, and love will never be forgotten.
