Reta M Halford

Reta was born February 5, 1939, in Millcreek Utah. Her parents were Sylvester Carl Capson and Deborah Fern High Capson. She lived most of her life in Salt Lake City and Bountiful, Utah. She was the sixth of seven children, with four sisters and two brothers. At the time of her death, she lived with her husband, Gene, in Bountiful Utah.

Reta married her sweetheart and eternal companion, Gene Ray Halford on July 7, 1956. They had four daughters, Pamela Jean, Deborah Louise, Charlene Kay, and Carla Marie.

She was a loving and proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Her family was her most cherished blessing.

Reta’s funeral services will be held on Thursday July 20^th, 2023, at the LDS Ward house located at 200 West 200 North, Bountiful, Utah. The viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11:15 a.m. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery, located at 2224 S 200 W, Bountiful, Utah.

Reta is survived by her husband, Gene Ray Halford, and her four daughters, Pamela Adams (Don), Deborah Halford, Charlene Mangelson (Scott), and Carla VanOs (Richard).
