Born November 3rd, 1952 to Roger Grant and Marilyn Gilmore in Ogden UT. He was the youngest of 4 sons. His brothers are Richard (Roma) Gilmore, David (Karen) Gilmore and Joseph (Jenny) Gilmore.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joe.
Rex is survived by his soul mate and wife Joni Perkins; his children Candice (Mike) Colby and Christopher (Julie) Gilmore, his stepchildren Jane (Vince) Font, and Curtis (Jenny) Logan. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Gavin, Lilly, Ivy, Erianna, and Collin.
Rex was an inspiring sculptor and jewelry artist. He loved all things Irish, riding Harley Davidson MotorCycles, and traveling the world. He was a great husband and father. He lived a full life surrounded by people who loved him. We are all better for his presence in our lives.
Rex is being cremated by Serenicare Funeral Home.
