Rodney "Rod" Chris Fors, a man of many talents and a loving soul, passed away peacefully at his home in Magna, Utah on July 15, 2023. He was born on June 4, 1961, in Provo, Utah. Rodney was a remarkable individual whose life was filled with adventure, dedication, and love for his family and friends.

Throughout his life, Rod embarked on various career paths but emerged as the go-to guy for fixing anything that came his way. His ability to meticulously work on and repair things was truly admirable. Whether it was a broken appliance or a faulty vehicle engine, Rod's expertise knew no bounds.

While Rod excelled professionally, he cherished the time spent with his beloved wife Justina and their children. One of his fondest memories was exploring the great outdoors together. Camping trips, hiking expeditions, and traversing the majestic mountains became treasured traditions in their family. These shared moments created bonds that would withstand the test of time.

Rod had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and adventure. He possessed an athletic prowess that allowed him to excel in gymnastics and swimming during his younger years. He harbored a deep love for street racing and modifying cars as well. His passion for speed was unrivaled.

Artistic expressions also held a special place in Rod's heart. He had an inherent talent in various forms of artistry and had an immense appreciation for rock 'n roll music. These creative outlets brought him joy throughout his life.

As a father, Rod's love knew no bounds. He was known for his nurturing nature, boundless care, and unwavering protection towards those he held dear. His beloved wife Justina occupied an extraordinary place in his heart; he devoted himself to her well-being while juggling the responsibilities of parenthood.

In spite of experiencing considerable pain during his later years, Rod remained steadfast in his commitment to his friends and family. He possessed an unwavering strength of character and maintained his infectious sense of humor throughout his trials, offering solace and laughter to those around him.

Rod's proudest accomplishments in life were undoubtedly his children and grandchildren. He found immense joy in witnessing their growth, guiding them through life's obstacles, and celebrating their achievements. He took great pride in their individual journeys and the close-knit circle they formed as a family.

Rod is preceded in death by his sons Royce and Rodney Jr., his parents Richard and Sally, as well as his sister Susan. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be cherished.

He is survived by his loving wife Justina, his children Jessie, Jammi (Jesse), Ryan (Jenn), Sharlee (Mark), Nikki, and Casey. Rodney was also blessed with a beautiful array of grandchildren: Kayleen, Westin, JessLynn, Makayla, Mylee, Hopelynn, Rogan, Aaliyah, Rylee, Rosalie, Diesel, Melody, Luka, and RayLynn. His brother Jeff (Shannon) will fondly remember him for years to come.

A celebration of Rod's extraordinary life will be held on July 21, 2023. Friends and family are invited to join together at City View Memoriam located at 1001 East 11th Avenue in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Celebration of Life will commence at 6:00 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM.

Rodney "Rod" Chris Fors will forever be remembered as a kind-hearted man who touched the lives of all those he encountered. His spirit will continue to inspire future generations to embrace love amid life's challenges. May he rest in eternal peace knowing that he was deeply loved by all who knew him.
