Rosie Mae Henderson

Rosie Mae Henderson, 79, peacefully joined her loved ones preceding her in death on February 11, 2013 with her devoted daughter Sandy at her side. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones during her last days with sweet little great granddaughter Justice holding her hand, not wanting to let go...And grandsons Johnathon and Bobby so lovingly consoling and comforting her with Jesse giving her blessings. Born in Oklahoma, she lived in Arizona and California before settling in LaVerkin in 2003. Rosie loved her 8 years of volunteer work at the Hurricane Care & Share Food Bank, and made many friends there. She was very caring and so sweet and lovable. Rosie loved being with her family, having a good time and a good glass of scotch, her clothes and her jewelry. She will be greatly missed by all. Survived by son John (Lucinda); sons: "The Blues Brothers", Blue and James (Kathy); favorite daughter, Sandy; her favorite sister, Wanda Salmon; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and her beloved nephew and nieces, Danny, Teri and Salli. Preceded in death by her father and mother, Aunt Mae and Uncle Rich, R.C. Henderson and Frenchy. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Linda, Heidi, and Brandyn for their friendship and continued support, and also to the Southern Utah Hospice, especially Annette and Heather. Memorial Services celebrating Rosie's life will be Monday, February 18, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00pm 410 North 300 West, LaVerkin, Utah.
