Safuiono Ofaatu Muliaga

Safuiono passed away January 13, 2022 in West Jordan, Utah. She was born March 28, 1982 to Matini Lapana and Tuvao Lapana in Mapusaga Fou, American Samoa. She is a graduate of Hunter High School in West Valley City, Utah. Safuiono worked as a lens manufacturer for National Vision. She has one daughter, Koleta L. Latu.

Ofa loved trying new things especially food. She also loves time with the kids. She has six brothers and three sisters

She is survived by her daughter; brother, Toaiva (Jessica) Lapana, two nephews; Tafito and Tristan Lapana, and one niece; Elena Lapana.

There will be a viewing Friday, January 21, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Serenicare Funeral Home, 2281 S West Temple, SLC, Utah.
