Sally Rond Zinkan

Sally Rond Zinkan died at Manor Care in South Ogden on October 23, 2015. She was born in Ogden on April 23, 1937 to Joseph and Martina (Scheer) Rond. Sally enjoyed being with family and growing up in Ogden. She graduated from Ogden High School and then moved to California where she worked for Litton Industries for many years. A beautiful, vivacious woman, Sally was fun to be around. Many memories were made with family at Bear Lake. Surviving Sally are her sisters: JoAnn (Gary) Nelson of Morgan, Utah and Peggy (Doug) Woodson of Westminster, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. Sally was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Tina Germer. A celebration of Sally's life will be held at a later date. The family of Sally would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Legacy House of Ogden for the care given to Sally during her time there. Also to the staff of Manor Care in South Ogden for the care and special attention given to Sally during the final times of her life. Finally an extra special expression of gratitude to Sally's niece, Shannon Taylor, for being with and caring for Sally when it was needed most.
