Our beloved husband, father and son, Scott Roberts Holman passed away peacefully February 2, 2007 in Orem, Utah.
He was born 22 May, 1951 in Logan, Utah to Dean and Leatrice Bell Holman. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and his Master's degree from Central Missouri State University.
Scott served in the U.S. Air Force both as a rotary wing and fixed wing pilot. One year ago he retired from Delta Air Lines as a 767 Captain. He was thrilled to currently be flying an EMS ambulance helicopter in Tucson, Arizona. He was proud of his 32 years accident free career.
Scott will always be remembered for his ever present humor. His love of the outdoors kept in hiking, biking, camping, skiing and golfing. Animals always found a friend in him.
He is survived by his wife, Marlena Laurella Holman, sons; Travis (Carrie) Holman, Tim Holman, parents Dean and Leatrice Holman, brother Thomas (Linda) Holman, sister Jane Holman, father - in-law Joseph Laurella, brothers-in-law; Joe (Laurie) Laurella, Carl (Vanessa) Laurella.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Northwest Medical Center and Hospice Specialists for their compassionate care.
A private family memorial service will be held at the Logan City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial scholarship fund has been established: Scott R. Holman, University of Utah, Air Force ROTC Scholarship Fund. Mail checks to Carl Laurella, 3986 Quarry Mountain Road, Park city, Utah 84098
