Sharon Lee Edwards

Sharon Lee (Oborn) Edwards died on March 19, 2018. She was born in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 1, 1943 to Milton Oborn (1911-1968) and Mae Craner. She was a graduate of South High School. She was married to the love of her life, Jay Edwards: January 6, 1973, 4:00 PM Elko, Nevada (45 years)

She worked in Administration and retail. Sharon loved to go four-wheeling and camping, being at the ocean and travelling—anything outside in the sunshine; she loved to be surrounded by family; and Halloween; she was a very loving, thoughtful, humorous, comforting, detail oriented, witty, and innocent person. She was always there for those who needed her, and was willing to try anything–but flying.

She is survived by: her children : Wendy Abbott; Tammy Krajick; Tracy Carlon (April); Kim Robertson (Keith); Dana (Daniel); Grandchildren: Larla (Blake), Justin (Adelyn); Amanda (Brandon), Danielle (Josh); Mallory (Ryan), Talina, Kabria, Canyon; Jessica (Waylon), Christopher (Madi); Sjon; and 7 Great Grandchildren; her mother, Mae Craner; and brother, Mick (Dianne) Oborn.

A Celebration of her wonderful life will be held; open house between 5:00-6:00 PM

Special thanks to: Hunter hollow, Legacy Village, and Serenicare Funeral Home, for all the help you’ve given our family during this time.

“You were absolutely adored by your family and will be forever loved and deeply missed. Life with you was the best experience any of us could have hoped for. We are all better for having had you in our lives, and hope that you are free and happy where you are, with your daddy, sitting on a four-wheeler on a bright, sunny beach overlooking a clear blue ocean. “
