Sherman Charles Roper

Sherman Charles Roper, 60, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 after losing his fight against cancer. Sherm was born January 25, 1953 in Pocatello, Idaho, the only child of Sherman Henry Roper and Elaine LaVone McCaskill Roper. He married Donna Christley Hansing in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 8, 1984. Sherm was known and loved by many for the unconditional help he rendered to others. He was always a fun, entertaining, kind and selfless person. He brought joy to many with his unique sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 5, from 6-8 pm at the City Creek Ward Chapel, 150 South 100 East, Richmond, Utah and from 10:30 to 11:45 am on Saturday before the service. Funeral services will begin at Noon on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the City Creek Ward. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
