Spencer Kay Arnold

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Spencer Kay Arnold, beloved son of Dan and Teresa Arnold, on June 24, 2024, at the age of 33. Spencer died unexpectedly of heat stroke.

Born on August 10, 1990, Spencer was known for his big heart and profound love for family and friends. He was a good friend to everyone he met, leaving a lasting impact with his kindness and generosity.

Spencer had a passion for reading, with a particular fondness for the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. His dedication and hard work were evident from a young age, with employers frequently praising him as their favorite employee.

Spencer found great satisfaction in repairing his car and took joy in learning about various mechanical repairs. His dream was to become a storm chaser, always driven by his adventurous spirit.

A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Spencer cherished his time in the church, especially enjoying Boy Scout camps, 50-milers, and father-and-son campouts. He also had a love for running, having completed the Salt Lake City Marathon.

Spencer is preceded in death by his younger brother Andrew, his grandfather Kay, his grandmother Rafella, and his Aunt Mindy. He leaves behind his loving parents, Dan and Teresa, his three sisters, Alyssa (Jacob), Sarah (Brady), and Shayla, and his six adored nieces and nephews: Sydney, Elizabeth, William, Oaklee, Kash, and Mack.

Spencer's kindness, love, and adventurous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The will be a visitation Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am at the Heber Stake Center 521 E 500 North, Heber City, Utah.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 am.  Interrment will be at the Heber City Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
