Sr. Loyce W. "Chief" Gregson

Loyce Gregson passed away peacefully on January 20, 2007 at Trinity Mission in Provo, Utah. Loyce was born January 19, 1921 to Harvey Gregson and Lula Hathcock in Monroe County, Alabama.
After being honorably discharged from the US Navy following 6 years of dedicated service in the US Navy during WWII, Loyce married Mildred Phillips on December 23, 1946 in Alabama.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and playing the guitar.
Survived by his loving wife, Mildred, four children, Tula (Jimmy) Owens, Santaquin, Ut.; Reba Dellaccio, New Orleans, LA; Loyce Jr.(Bogie) Kathy, Cullman, Al.; John G (Deborah) Gregson, Pleasant Grove, Ut; brother, Harvey Jr. Loxley, Al.; Sister, Felicy Farnia, Summerdale, Al.; 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Battle Creek 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 1106 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove, Utah. A viewing will he held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. at the same location. Interment at the Orem City Cemetery.
