Steven F Archibald

Steven F Archibald, 68, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016. He was born in Brigham City, Utah as the oldest of 5 children.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Beva Lynn (Jensen); father, Farrell; sister, Terry; and brothers, Brian and Gary. He was married to his sweetheart, Paula (Niffenegger) for 45 years and loved and cared for her with a deep devotion all of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Paula, and his children: Jody (Michael), Christie (Devin), Jennifer (Nathan), Jared, Katherine, Melissa (Nick), Emmalee (John); and grandchildren: Brianna, Ethan, Joshua, Tyler, Kylie, Samara, and Eli; as well as 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Todd, nephew ,Ronald; niece, Shelby; Aunt Rita; and Uncle Jimmy.

Steve worked hard all of his life to provide for his family and to offer assistance and advice. He instilled in each of his children a sense of integrity and responsibility. He was an avid fisherman, loved to read and learn, worked crossword puzzles (with a pen), had an extensive vocabulary and an excellent knowledge of geography. Children adored him and he was a favorite among the grandkids. He will be missed by all who knew him for his kindness, generosity and wisdom.

Funeral services for Steven will be held, at Noon on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the LDS Church at 38001 North Basin Road, Cave Creek, Arizona. A time of visitation at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Service. Interment will be in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
