Thomas Baron Lief

Thomas Baron Lief, born November 18, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away at home on Sunday, September 23, 2018.  Tom died of ALS. He is survived by his two daughters Shannon and Rhalena and his brother Ron. Also, his dear wife Barbra and her daughters Janice and Karen. Tom has 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with another on the way.

Tom enjoyed his career as an attorney and a contractor. He loved being the father to daughters and one rambunctious poodle. Tom loved to sing and he knew the words to thousands of songs and ditties. Often you could find him in the kitchen cooking up a storm, he loved teaching his grandchildren and great grandchildren the difference between being a cook and a chef.

Tom became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at age 40.  He lived a life dedicated to becoming a more Christlike person and serving others.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 2500 S. Bluff Road, Syracuse, Utah.  Tom will be interred at a later date in the Syracuse City Cemetery.

The family requests in lieu of flowers to please donate to the Humanitarian Fund with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or a food program for feeding children.
