Tiffany Shantel Hickenlooper

Few experiences compare to death when putting into perspective what matters most: our relationships.  It is no irony that Tiffany Shantel Wise Hickenlooper helped aid that perspective on a very fitting holiday, St. Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2017. She passed from this life into the next, returning to heaven and united with her beloved mother.

Born in Caldwell, Idaho on February 12, 1979, Tiffany grew up in Idaho and Utah.  She graduated from Skyline High School in Salt Lake City.  She went on to professionally train as a Certified Nurses Assistant, Birth Doula, and Licensed Massage Therapist and recently pursued a Nursing degree.

Tiffany possessed many skills and talents, including a gentle, healing touch, being a fun friend, finding mischief and reigning in the sassy.  She was a naturally gifted musician.  She was an especially talented pianist, singer and song-writer.  When she laughed, it was as though she laughed starting from her toes and up through her whole body.  She was passionate about art in many forms. She had knowledge of natural remedies, chakra energy, and healing crystals.

Tiffany married Jared Hickenlooper on July 31, 1999. They had two sons, Zoa and Gabe.  Though Tiffany and Jared later divorced, they remained close friends and dedicated parents. Of all the accomplishments in her life, being a mother to her children was her most cherished.

Tiffany is preceded in death by her mother, Alana Kae Brown Wise.  She is survived by her father, Steve Wise, step-mother Susan Wise, Jared Hickenlooper, sons Zoa and Gabe Hickenlooper, siblings KC Wise (Elizabeth), Misty Sullivan, Seth Wise, Josh Wise, Amber Farrington (Dean); step-sisters Jessie Williams (Andrea), Alicia Bonilla (Luis), Adrienne Jacobs (Dereck), grandmother Patsy McConkey and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family appreciates the outpouring of love and support.  Thank you for being a part of Tiffany’s life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00am, in the Silver Mesa LDS Ward Chapel, 8945 South 1700 East in Sandy, Utah.
