Timothy Edwin Ward

Timothy Edwin Ward, age 39, passed away Jan. 24, 2007, at his home in Logan, Utah. He was born Sept. 13, 1968, to his parents, Patty Mardean and Edwin Claude Ward in Beeville, Texas. One of Tim's many talents was music. From his early teens we would watch with amazement as he would listen to notes and tones from the radio and play them in seconds on his guitar. In times of trial, he brought joy and happiness to our home with his music. He also enjoyed cooking for his family, friends and roommates. He was excited to cook Thanksgiving dinner this past year for his roommates. Most people who met Tim would say he was a gentleman and had a genuine heart. He also loved to camp and spend time in the mountains exploring. As many of you know he suffered with a chemical imbalance. It was a constant struggle for him. He came to understand this illness and work with it. He had a positive outlook in spite of this illness. He knew his Heavenly Father loved him, and that this life was to gain a mortal body and only a minute in God's time. He married Maleese Garr and together they had three children. They later divorced but remained friends. His children were the light of his life. We know he hated to leave them. Tim, we all will greatly miss your sense of humor, your laughter and the smile that would lighten our burdens. May God be with you till we meet again. He is survived by his children, Rhett Timothy, Aubree Elizabeth and Teagan Mikall; his mother, Patty Mardean Ward; father, Edwin Claude Ward; two sisters, Patricia Bruins (John) and Claudia Stone (Jerry), two brothers, David Ward (Greta) and Josh Ward. He also has 12 aunts and uncles and many cousins. He also has 16 nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, in the Logan Fourth Ward chapel, 294 N. 100 East, with Bishop Simmons officiating.
