Tyler Ralph Bitton passed away tragically on December 15, 2022 at the age of 48. He was born on January 20, 1974
in Salt Lake City, UT and spent the first years of his childhood there and in West Weber, UT. He spent part of his
early teenage years in Leeds, UT. He was known as being the best paper boy in town. He spent the majority of his teen years and adulthood in Hooper and Roy, UT. As an over the road truck driver Tyler saw 48 of the 50 states. He later decided to move to Oregon, where he spent the last years of his life. Tyler loved Oregon for its fresh clean air, the ocean, and all the beauty it had to offer. He said that Oregon was the cold version of Hawaii.
Tyler loved spending time with his family, mountain biking, hiking, meditation, and enjoying as much time as he
could being in nature and the sunshine. He always said and believed that getting sunlight into your eyes helped
improve your mood and gave you more energy. He also loved animals and had a unique bond with them.
Tyler was patient, empathetic and caring, especially to the less fortunate and the under privileged. Tyler was truly
a genuine, and compassionate person. He would help anyone dealing with a problem and always had the right
words to say to help them through it. Often, he was who people could turn to for help with their problems. He was
very sensitive to other people’s feelings, and he himself felt strongly and deeply with all his heart. Tyler always had
an interesting and intelligent perspective on life. He was extremely funny and had a way of looking at life so you
could laugh at the hardship’s life may throw at you.
His parents, siblings, friends, and extended family will forever miss and grieve his loss immensely. We will find
peace knowing he is in a beautiful place, reunited with loved ones, especially his brother Rusty.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Jim and Karen Bickerstaff, siblings, Shane Bitton, Shannah (Sam) Aleiwe, and Staci
Bickerstaff.
Tyler is preceded by in death by his brother Rusty Bitton, Father Brad Bitton, grandparents Dee and Leone Bitton,
Ralph and Ruth Bytheway, Betty and Glenn Bickerstaff and his beloved dog, Sadie.
