Vicki L Smalling

Vicki L Smalling age 54, died on February 2, 2014. She was born in Salt Lake City on March 27, 1959 to Floyd and Sue (Thomas) Weidauer. She graduated from Kearns High School in 1977. On August 26, 1983, she married Russell J. Smalling. Russell referred to her as, "My Honey" and was the most unselfish person he ever met. She always put the needs of everybody else ahead of her own, and she never complained. Her creed was: "Yesterday is History; Tomorrow is a Mystery; and Today is a gift." Surviving Vicki is her husband, Russell; sons: Brandon (Sharon) and Jared Smalling; grandchildren: Kay Lynn, Allie, Samantha, and Parker; her brothers: Tim and Dan Weidauer; and her sisters: Mindy Gleason and Cindy Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Joseph Smalling. A Celebration of Vicki's life will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the Stansbury Park Clubhouse, 1 Country Club, next to the swimming pool. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Vicki's name to the Hunstman Cancer Institute or Compass Rehabilitation Center in South Jordan.
