Vicky Rae Hancock, 57, passed away on Friday January 26, 2024, in Murray Utah with her family at her side.

Vicky was born April 19, 1966, in Price Utah to Amos Lacy Hancock and Judith Ivy (Gregersen) Hancock. Vicky attended Kearns High School where she played trumpet in the marching band, she also played basketball.

She later attended SLCC where she received an associate degree in Welding.

Vicky loved to be outside working. Vicky worked many jobs, but she loved roofing and later welding. Vicky was a See Bee in the US Naval Reserves.

Vicky married Annette Redmond (later separated).

She loved her animals, horses, parrots, and dogs. Her favorites were her dogs Echo, Cheyane, and her last dog Dalton.

Vicky loved her nephews and nieces.

Preceded in death by her son Tyler James Hancock, niece Jessica Jacobsen and nephew Jake Hancock and grandparents Claude and Margie Hancock and Clifford and Florence Gregersen

Survived by her parents Lacy and Judy Hancock, siblings Glenda (Jay Mortensen) Kidd, Bradd (Edna) Hancock, Marcy Hancock, Lisa Hancock and half-sister Lucy (Alreigh) Knoth, nephews Shannon, Casey, Shane, Caleb, Brett, Brandon, Devin, Jesse, Dylan, Chase, Austin and nieces Cadie, Desiree, Kristen and Amanda.

There will be a Memorial for Vicky on Saturday, March 2 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the City View Memoriam, 1001 E 11th Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah.  Interment will be at a later date in the Monroe City Cemetery.

We ask that no flowers or plants be sent.
