Wally Anderson

Wally D Anderson peacefully passed away on July 27,2021, surrounded by his loving family. Wally was born May 13, 1937 to Dail and Carrie Anderson in Salt Lake City Utah. He married the love of his life, Carol Joyce Anderson on April, 13, 1961.

He worked at the United States Postal Service for 24 years before retiring. Our dad also received several service awards during his time as a postal worker. Prior to working at the post office, he worked as a Barber while owning his own business.

He had a lifelong passion for fossil hunting. He spent a lot of time traveling throughout the western United States in search of fossils. Our dad enjoyed traveling with his family going on “rocking trips”.

Our dad had a deep desire to spend time with his whole family. Our dad exemplified his love for Christ, by expressing his unconditional love towards his family and those of whom he would encounter. Through all of his unfortunate illnesses, he always acknowledged, Gods Grace, Mercy and Love.

Our dad was a funny fella, he always made everyone laugh.

He is proceeded in death by his son Todd Anderson (1992) grandson Joshaua Goodwill (2012) and his wife Carol Joyce Anderson (2015). He is survived by his twin daughters, Kim Anderson of Bolder UT, Kelli Lanthier (Bob) Draper UT. His grandchildren Ryan Goodwill (Tiffany) Wisconsin, Aaryn Goodwill (Catlyn) Salt Lake City, Nicole Shriver’s (Max) Bolder UT, Katlyn Rose (Matt) Bolder UT, Cassidee Goodwill, Bolder UT, Elisha Anderson, Salt Lake City, Melissa Green (Taso) Salt Lake City, Jeremy Anderson and Chrostopher Anderson. He also had 9 great children and many extended family and friends

Graveside service will be held at Elysian Gardens in Murray Ut on August 2, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate our dad’s life.
