Wayne Buehler

"Skinny Papa" 1938-2012

Eagle Mountain, Utah- Wayne Buehler, age 74, passed away on December 19, 2012 At Utah Valley Hospital. Wayne was born to Howard and Carolyn Buehler on September 25, 1938 in Racine, Wisconsin. On July 11, 1964 he was united in marriage to Kathleen Gedemer. Wayne has left us to cherish the memories of his life with his family whom he loved so dearly. He is survived by his wife Kathie and daughters Colleen (Todd) Sundberg and Shawna (Troy) Gifford, and the grandkids he couldn't love enough - Janik and Cabria Sundberg and Madyson, Shayna, and Lynsie Gifford. Wayne is also survived by his sisters Kathy (Tom) Gedemer, Roslyn (Dale) Aubart, Mary O'Palivky, and brothers Chuck (Ute) Buehler, Tim (Elaine) Buehler, Noel (Maureen) Buehler. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carol and brother Howard (Debby). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. After retiring Wayne has always kept on working at various jobs as "jobs" were his "hobby". Wayne was happiest when he was with his family, especially the grandkids. He was always involved in going to their hockey games, basketball games, softball games, tournaments, dance and cheer competitions. He enjoyed going on walks with his old dog friends Alex and Keeley or anyone else who wanted to join in. He loved watching football, and being a Wisconsin native, it was always "Go Packers". He read about and tuned in to all politics of every kind, and could argue with the best of them. We will all miss you and love you, my husband, our dad, and our "skinny papa".
