Wesley Dee Colter died at home on April 15, 2016. He was born in Ogden on May 13, 1944 to Charles and Sybil Colter. He grew up in Weber County and on July 29, 1989 he married Connie “Chris” Christian.

A wonderful sense of humor will be remembered, Wesley kept his humor to the end. He loved being outdoors: fishing, hunting, boating, 4 wheeling, and treasure hunting.

In the Air Force, Wesley found his life's profession as a jet mechanic. After his service he applied to work at Hill Air Force Base where he remained until retirement in 2005.

Surviving Wesley are his wife, Chris; son, Wesley Shane Colter; step-son, Kurt (Shawntam) Hart; grandchildren, Kohl and Keaton Hart; sister, Ruth (Clare) Bailey; many nieces and nephews; and many friends, some of whom have been friends since childhood. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dwayne Colter.
