Wesley Andy Jenson, 68, died October 2, 2006 due to injuries sustained from an industrial accident on the job site in Five Mile Pass, Utah. Wes was born May 30,1938 in Greenbush Township MN to Andy and Dorothy (Anderson) Jenson. He was raised in Glendorado MN on the family farm. Wes attended Grade school and high school in this area. In 1956 Wes joined the United States Navy. Wes served in San Salvador, Bahamas for 3 years with the Seabees and was discharged in 1959.
Wes married Sharon (Sheri) Johnson in 1960. Together they had four children. Wes worked numerous jobs through the years and began working construction with Ames Construction in 1976 and continued to be a faithful employee with this company until the moment of his death. In 1988 Wes married Leona Olson in Elko NV and they were married until Leona's death in May 2006.
Wes was a good-hearted, thoughtful man who had made many friends through his lifetime. All of whom, along with his family, will never forget his generosity, compassion and philosophy on life. Wes considered his friends as family and cared for all of them deeply. He will be truly missed.
Wes is survived by his parents, Andy and Dorothy Jenson; his siblings and their spouses: Walter (Gwen) Jenson, William (Sandy) Jenson, Barbara Hall, Curtis (Betty) Jenson, and Kermit Jenson; his children: Dean Jenson, Missy (Warren) Herman, Lisa (John) Gray; his step-children: Arla (Don) Scott, Ralph (Marcy) St. Laurent; and his grandchildren: Kasey and Travis Herman, Jamie Jenson, John JR, and Jasmine Gray, Heaven and Mary Scott, and Devin and Amber St. Laurent.
Wes was preceded in death by his son, Anthony (Tony) Jenson, and his spouse, Leona Jenson.
