William Charles Garwood
Bill Garwood dealt his last hand of cards on June 15th, 2022. Bill didn't believe in long obituaries. He said his family and friends knew how he lived his life.
Born in Nebraska, he later moved to Salt Lake City, where he met Gloria (Fehlman) Garwood. Their marriage of almost 60 years was fun and adventurous.
Bill had a brilliant mind and a keen sense of humor. His many friends knew and loved his cheerful, easy-going nature. His warm smile and sparkling eyes made everyone feel immediately welcomed. He was an avid reader, but playing cards was his passion.
Bill loved and adored his daughter Heather and loved and respected his son-in-law Jeff. However, the sun rose and set on his granddaughters Hannah Rose and Molly Jane. Their close relationships were what made him smile each day.
He is survived by his wife Gloria, daughter Heather Schmidt and son-in-law Jeff Schmidt of Red Lodge, Montana. Granddaughters Hannah Schmidt of Bellingham, Washington and Molly Schmidt of Bozeman, Montana.
So, goodbye to a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.
